The state government has increased the salaries of doctors in Karnataka. Under the National Health Mission (NHM), the salary of doctors has increased to Rs 45,000 in Karnataka. In a press conference held on Monday, Dr Sudhakar said that the state government is going to bear the expenses of the increased salary of doctors. He also said that the salary of ASHA workers will also be increased. In the state for the past many days, the ASHA workers have been protesting to increase their salary.

While discussing corona management in the state, he said that the corona testing is going to be increased in the Containment Zone. In which he said that it was decided that the booth level committee would detect influenza-like illness (ILI) and severe acute respiratory infections. Apart from this, 3,648 corona cases have been registered in Karnataka on Monday. Now the total number of corona infected has reached 67,420. State Health Department gave its information According to the bulletin issued by the department, there are 72 new deaths due to corona in the state. The total death toll has reached 1,403. There are 42,216 active cases in the state.
