Trekking to Choordhar Peak
It is the highest point in both the SOLAN and SIRMOUR districts. It stands at a height of 12000 feet. It's in the Sirmour neighbourhood. It's a holy place. You should visit here at least once in your life if you want to experience nature. On the top, there is a tiny shrine. It is the SHIRGUL god's residence. For the locals, it is the holy place.
How to reach Choordhar Peak
You should travel to SOLAN and then board a bus to NAHURADHAR from the SOLAN bus station in the morning. Solan is 70 kilometres away. It will take 2–3 hours to go to Nauradhar. You will pass through several beautiful springs, forests, and villages on your way to NAHURADHAR.
In Nahurdhar, there is a large gate from which you must begin your trip. It is 18-kilometre-long trekking. During trekking, you must pass through a sacred location. Choordhar Peak is one of India's greatest photography locations. It will take 7 to 8 hours to reach the temple. You will see many snow-covered peaks from there.
Facilities at the peak
There is a large temple called Dharamshala. A free night's stay is provided by the temple committee. "3 Rs per blanket" is all you have to spend for blankets. A temple organizes a daily Bhandara twice a day. There is a phone available there. Apart from 5 to 7 tea shops, there are no hotels in this area.
