Nagpur: The 3-match T20 series between India and Bangladesh is currently 1–1. The third and last match of the series will be played in Nagpur today. Both teams have a lot at stake. Till date, India has never lost a 3-match bilateral T20 series on home soil. Although the host team has not won a single bilateral T20 this year, this is the first bilateral T20 series between the host country and India and the team that wins the series will surely create history.
In the initial period, the series was won by the Bangladesh team when they defeated India by 7 wickets in Delhi due to Mushfiqur Rahim's not out 60 innings. This was Bangladesh's first win against India in T20 matches. After the defeat of Delhi, India took revenge in Rajkot, where they scored a unilateral win of 8 wickets with 26 balls remaining on the basis of 85 runs of Rohit Sharma. Captain Rohit wants his fast bowlers to improve their performance in this match.
Nagpur pitch is generally not considered easy for batting. Since March 12, 2016, a total of 5 T20 matches have been played here, in which no team has touched the 150-run mark till date. Because of this, the team that wins the toss may prefer bowling first.
