NEW DELHI: Team India beat the West Indies by 59 runs in the second ODI between India and the West Indies on Sunday. The match was played at queens park stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad. India won the match on the basis of Duck Worth-Lewis method. Team India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bat. Chasing a victory target of 279 runs set by captain Virat Kohli, India were bundled out for 279 in 50 overs.

The West Indies were 280 for victory, but the rain disrupted the match twice, making the match 46-46 overs. Chasing a victory target of 270 runs set by the West Indies, the visitors were bundled out for 270 in 46 overs. Shreyas Iyer made 71 runs with 5 fours and 1 sixes in 68 balls. Virat was the man of the match for his brilliant innings.
