Hazaribagh: The incident of Muslims harassing 2-3 Hindu families living in a village in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, is in the news. A Hindu girl from this village has been forced to do sit-ups by Muslims by holding her ears. Not only this but they are also being pressured to adopt Islam. The incident took place in the Sirma village of Barkagaon police station area of Hazaribagh. Kiran Devi, a woman from this village, alleged that on the night of August 10, Waseem, son of Mukhiya Ishrat Jahan, forcibly entered her house at night with dozens of persons and abducted her daughters.

Kiran Devi alleged that her two minor daughters were abused and vulgarly in the panchayat outside. They were slapped and made to hold their ears and make everyone do sit-ups. Its video was also made viral on social media. The criminals threatened that their worship would be stopped. Kiran Devi says that the next day when she went to the panchayat Samiti with a complaint about this incident, 15-20 persons surrounded her, including Muslim women. They all started pressurising Kiran Devi to convert to Islam. He threatened that if you want to live in this village, you have to become a Muslim, otherwise you will be made to disappear. However, after the police registered a case against the victim's family and negligence, the Sanatan Hindu Samaj Organization started a fast. The organization says that instead of giving justice to the victim, the police have registered a case against them. The organization has demanded that the case against the family be dropped and security should be given to him.

Sirma village is Muslim-dominated and only 2-3 families of Hindus live here. The family being tortured has two minor girls, a younger brother and their widowed mother. His father Tulsi Sao has died. After complaining about the incident, the Muslim side also sued the family. The police registered a case accusing the victim's family of inciting religious sentiments. On this, the victim says that the police are deliberately complicating the case to save the criminals. When people came to know about this, anger spread among them. They started a fast in protest against this action of the police. In view of the pressure of the people, the police say that two criminals have been arrested and the search for the other four persons is going on. They will be arrested soon. The accused include Mohammad Waseem, son of Chief Ishrat Jahan, Shajibullah, Mohammad Nazim, Mohammad Taqib, Mohammad Asif and five unidentified persons. Police have arrested Mohammad Nadeem and Mohammad Saqib. Earlier, in the panchayat, he was called guilty of making a video viral and said that his religious sentiments have been hurt by making it viral. At the same time, the girl said that she has not made the video viral. Even after this, he and his family were humiliated. It is being said that in that video, some Muslim youths of the village were waving the flag of Pakistan. Let us know that the number of Muslims in many areas in Jharkhand has increased rapidly in the last few years. The demographic status of those areas has also changed as the population increases. In areas where the population of Muslims has increased, they are pressuring them to work according to Islam. Recently, there was a case of renaming government schools in areas of many districts of Jharkhand, where the population of Muslims is high. Government schools in these areas were renamed as Urdu schools and Friday was declared a holiday instead of Sunday.
