Washington: The joint military exercise between India and the US begins Sunday at the Joint Base Lewis-McCord (JBLM) in Seattle. This joint practice is named Vajra Prahar. This is the 10th edition of the joint exercise, which will continue until 28 October. It is organized alternately in India and America. Last year the exercise was held in Jaipur.

Giving information about the exercise, the Indian embassy has told the media that the 45-member Indian force will undertake training with American soldiers in the military exercise. The Army of the two countries will share their experiences during the exercise. Bilateral military exercises and defense exchanges will further strengthen defense cooperation between India and the United States. With this, the two countries will also share new war strategies with each other's armies.

Earlier in September, soldiers from both countries underwent joint military training at the Lewis-McCord base. This included the state-of-the-art weapons and military equipment that the Indian Army has recently received. These include the Howitzer cannon and the Chinook chopper. At the same time, the US Army also played the tune of the Indian national anthem 'Jana Gana Mana' during the exercise.
