In the wake of the Russia-Ukraine War, many heartbreaking photos are coming out from Ukraine. The ongoing Russian attacks in Ukraine have made the lives of the people there worse. In view of the worsening conditions caused by the same quarrel, India has now come forward to help Ukraine. On Tuesday, the first consignment of relief supplies from India will be dispatched to Ukraine. More than 5 million people in Ukraine have left the country so far. Amidst the ongoing war in Ukraine, a high-level meeting was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After this meeting, the Ministry of External Affairs has decided to send relief supplies.

At the same time, Prime Minister Modi said that India will continue to help the people of its neighbours and developing countries who are caught in the war. Earlier, Ukraine's envoy to India Igor Polikha had urged India to send relief material. Apart from supplying relief material to Ukraine, India is also engaged in evacuating its people from the war zone. Under Operation Ganga, the process of bringing Indian people to India through special flights of Air India is going on.
