Do you know what today's day is celebrated as?  its International Dance Day .It was introduced in 1982 by the International Dance Council, a UNESCO partner NGO, and is celebrated annually on April 29.

This idea came into existence to attract the attention of more and more public to the art of dance.

In India, there are eight classical dance forms and over 100 folk dances, International Dance Day is marked by organizations and artistes alike in the form of dance performances, talks and seminars.
