CHENNAI: The outbreak of Corona virus epidemic that has taken over the world has now hit cement factories as well. Major cement manufacturer India Cement has also announced the closure of its cement factories across the country in view of the threat of Corona. India Cement has given this information in the information sent to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

India Cement has written in its letter that 'in view of the safety and security of all its parties, the company's operations in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan and Maharashtra are being discontinued. This step is being taken as per the guidelines of the Central Government and the concerned State Governments.

The company, headquartered in Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu, has said that the deadline for the closure of factories would be similar to the situation improving across the country. Let us tell you that after more than 400 cases of corona virus have been reported across the country, all people are taking precautions and many districts have been locked down by the government.
