The country-wide protests are going on after the martyrdom of 20 Indian soldiers in the bloody conflict caused by the action of Chinese troops along the Ladakh border are sure to have an impact on the Chinese company. The central government has banned the use of Chinese goods in BSNL. A Chinese company based in Sitarganj, which invests crores in Uttarakhand in the field of textiles, may also fall. On 25 September 2014, Make in India was launched to promote industrialization and entrepreneurship and employment generation, with an emphasis on the manufacturing of goods within India. In 2017, 12 big companies in China agreed to invest six thousand crores in Uttarakhand. All these companies were to be set up in Sitarganj and Pantnagar Sidkul and about 1.25 lakh people were to get employment.

Only one of these companies arrived here. China's 'Yoyogo' Textiles Private Limited company invested about 325 crores in Sidkul Phase Two. The company began blanket production in November 2018. The company employs about five hundred people. It employs about six Chinese executives and 150 workers, while another 11 companies have not yet arrived. Six Chinese officers working in the company are also apprehensive about their security in view of the resentment against China after the martyrdom of Indian soldiers in Galwan Valley. If the government ends business relations with China, then the company operating here will be shut down. This will make hundreds of people associated with the company unemployed.

About six companies of SIDCUL are sourcing goods from China. Catalyst is sourced from China to make hydrogen in a company. Apart from this, plant spares from other companies also come from China. A company official says that coding in Chinese machines also done in the Chinese language.
