New Delhi: There has been a strain at the Ladakh border for the past several months. India and China have once again held core commander-level talks after a long time. The talks began at around 9 pm on Monday at Moldo near Ladakh border, which continued till around 11.30 pm. Both countries had a tough stand in the meeting.

Indian Army officers will arrive back at Leh base on Tuesday after a meeting in Moldo. A clear message has been sent to China several times by the Indian side, in which India has called for the Chinese army to withdraw from the Line of Actual Control (LAC). However, China has so far been standing on the border. The two countries made their points during the meeting, as well as efforts to prevent any major tensions. After the meeting, there are now repeated indications that both countries have prepared for the long hall. If this happens, thousands of soldiers may have to be deployed on the Ladakh border in winter.

The Indian side has made it clear from the army to the government that they want to resolve the issue with China with peace. The army is also fully prepared to face every situation. On the same issue, India also cleared its position in the meeting.
