Leh: On the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the Indian-Chinese forces have stood face to face just 500 meters from each other. There is an atmosphere of tension in Pangong area. After talks between India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Moscow, it was believed that China could change its attitude, but nothing like this happened.

The tension on the LAC in Ladakh near Pangong Lake is constantly deepening. According to sources, a large number of soldiers are being deployed from India near Finger 3. In the past 48 hours, the movement at north Pangong Lake has increased a lot. According to media reports, the Chinese army is trying to advance towards the west of Pangong Lake. China attempted to infiltrate the southern bank of Pangong Lake on 29–30 August, which was thwarted by Indian troops. The Indian Army has reached higher altitude, which has increased China's fury.

India has agreed to a five-point plan with China to end the deadlock at the border in eastern Ladakh. This includes complying with all the existing agreements and regulations related to the management of the border, maintaining peace and avoiding every action that spoils the environment. During talks between Foreign Minister S.  Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Moscow on Thursday evening, the two countries agreed on the plan.
