New Delhi: Daily cases of corona across the country are increasing record- day by day. New cases of infection have caused a hue and cry everywhere. More than 1.25 lakh cases have been registered in the last 24 hours so far, breaking all infection records. According to the Union Health Ministry, 1,26,789 new cases of coronavirus have been registered and 684 people have lost their lives across the country in the last 24 hours.

This is the third time in the last four days that corona cases have crossed one lakh in the country. Corona 1.15 million cases were registered this first Tuesday.  The situation in Maharashtra is much more serious than in other states. Here are 59,907 cases registered in the last 24 hours alone. In view of these increasing cases of the corona, state governments are taking steps like lockdown and night curfew.

The Baghel government in Chhattisgarh has announced a complete lockdown in Raipur between April 9 and April 19. Meanwhile, a night curfew has been imposed in several districts of Uttar Pradesh after Maharashtra, Delhi, and Punjab.  Vaccination in the country is also continuing amid these increasing cases of coronavirus. So far, 8.83 crore vaccine supplements have been administered across the country.
