New Delhi: The total number of patients infected with the coronavirus in the country has reached a figure of 11.5 million. In the last 24 hours, 37,148 cases have been registered in the country, while 587 people have died due to this epidemic. With this, the number of people who died from corona in the country has increased to 28084.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday, the number of corona patients in the country has gone up to 11, 55, 191. At present, treatment of 4,02,529 patients is underway and 7,24,578 patients have become healthy. According to ICMR, 1,43,81,303 samples have been tested till 20 July. However, the news of relief has come from Delhi. For the first time in the country's capital Delhi, the number of new cases of coronavirus was less than 1,000.
In Maharashtra, 8,240 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the last 24 hours. Total cases increased to 3,18,695. The number of dead in the state has exceeded 12 thousand. The state health department said that with the death of 176 more patients in the day, the death toll in the province rose to 12,030. The department has said in a statement that 5,460 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovery. With this, the number of patients who have been healthy so far has increased to 1,75,029. The department said that 1,31,334 people are currently undergoing treatment in the state.
