Corona cases cross 92 lakh mark in India, 44,489 new cases recorded in one day

New Delhi: The number of corona infection cases in the country has reached 92 lakhs. According to Thursday's data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India reported 44,489 new cases in the last 24 hours. This brought the number of infected to 92,66,706. The number of dead has increased to 1,35,223 with 524 new deaths.

There are 4,52,344 active cases in the country. 86,79,138 patients have been cured after beating this infection. Talking about the most active cases in the country, there are 85,488 active cases in Maharashtra at this time. There are 65,234 in Kerala and 38,287 in Delhi. Today is the 19th day when India has reported less than 50,000 cases a day. The last time new cases exceeded the 50,000 mark on 7 November.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 13,59,31,545 samples were tested till 25 November and 10,90,238 samples were tested yesterday. On the other hand, talking about the world, 60,366,020 people have been infected in the world so far by the global coronavirus. According to the Reuters Tally, at least 1,420,556 people have died due to coronavirus infection. The first case of infection with the novel coronavirus was reported in the world by Wuhan city of China in December 2019.
