New Delhi: New records are being made every day with the increasing cases of Corona virus in the country. 84,156 new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours in the country. 1,083 people have died due to coronavirus. Now the total number of corona infected has reached 40 lakhs in the country. Earlier, the highest number of cases in the country were reported on September 3, 83,883 new patients were found on that day.
According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, the total number of corona infected in the country has reached 39 lakh 30 thousand. Of these, 68,569 people have lost their lives. The number of active cases has increased to 8 lakh 29 thousand and 30 lakh 34 thousand people have recovered from COVID19. The number of healthy people is almost three times more than the number of active cases. It is a matter of relief that mortality and active case rates are steadily decreasing. The death rate fell to 1.74%. Apart from this, the rate of active cases whose treatment is continuing has also come down to 21 per cent. The recovery rate means that the recovery rate has been 77%.
According to the ICMR, 54 per cent of coronavirus cases are from people between the ages of 18 to 44 years, but 51% of deaths due to coronavirus occurred in people 60 years and older. As of September 3, a total of 466.6 million samples of the coronavirus have been tested, of which 11 lakh samples were tested yesterday. The positivity rate is less than 7 per cent.
