New Delhi: The process of fluctuations in the number of cases of coronavirus is continuing every day. In the last 24 hours, 18,139 new cases of corona have been reported in the country and 234 people have lost their lives due to the virus. There has been a slight drop in cases on Friday as compared to Thursday.

However, it is a matter of relief that the recovery rate in the country is better and now the number of patients free of infection has crossed 10 million. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, 20,539 patients have gone back to their homes in the last 24 hours and the total number of active cases is currently 2,25,449. In the last 24 hours, 1,04,13,417 total cases recorded due to corona with 18,139 new cases. While the number of patients recovering from 20,539 people after returning home has gone up to 1,00,37,398. 234 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours, after which the total death toll in the country has crossed 1.5 million.

On Thursday, there was a slight increase in corona cases in the country. On Thursday, 20,346 new cases of corona were reported and 222 people succumbed to the infection. According to Health Ministry data, 2,25,449 patients are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
