New Delhi: The number of corona patients in the country has reached beyond 7 lakhs. According to an update released by the Health Ministry on Tuesday morning, the total number of patients in the country has increased to 7 lakh 19 thousand 665, in which 20 thousand 160 people have lost their lives. So far, about 4 lakh 40 thousand people have been recovered from Corona, while there are about 2 lakh 60 thousand active cases.
In the last 24 hours, 22 thousand 252 new cases have been registered and 467 people have died. According to ICMR, till July 6, one crore 2 lakh 11 thousand 92 samples have been tested. In this, the test of 2 lakh 41 thousand 430 samples was done only on 6 July, in which more than 22 thousand people have been found infected. On Monday, the number of corona patients in Delhi has crossed one lakh. In the last 24 hours, 1379 new cases increased and 48 patients died. The reason is that the recovery rate in Delhi is improving and at this time 71.5% patients are recovering and going home. There are 25 thousand 620 active cases of corona in Delhi, while about 72 thousand patients have become healthy.
Maharashtra remains the largest center of Corona in the country. Talking about the statistics, in the last 24 hours, 5 thousand 3 hundred 68 new patients have come up in Maharashtra, whereas 204 patients have lost their lives. The total corona patients in the state has crossed 2 lakh 11 thousand 9 hundred, while 9026 patients have died.
