New Delhi: India has now overtaken Spain to the fifth position in the list of countries most affected by the coronavirus epidemic. The total number of patients here is more than two lakh forty thousand. According to data compiled by the Center for Science and Engineering (CSSE) of John Hopkins University in the US, the total number of corona infects in India reached 2,43,733 as of 9:00 am (Indian time) on Saturday (June 6). Whereas, a total of 6672 people have lost their lives due to this disease so far.

1,17,404 patients have returned home from the hospital after recovering from this disease. According to CSSE data, Coronavirus in America has the highest number of people infected in the world and more than 1.9 million cases of infection have been reported here. The US, considered the world's superpower, has 19,01,416 infected and 1,09,215 lives. Of these, 4,91,706 people have recovered from the infection.

In Brazil also, the outbreak of Covid-19 has been increasing rapidly and it is second only to the US in the list of countries most affected by the infection of Covid-19. The number of infected in the country has crossed the five lakh mark. So far, 6,50,504 people have been affected by it and 35,139 people have died. 3,02,084 people have returned home after treatment.
