New Delhi: More than 11 thousand cases of corona infection were reported on Monday for the second consecutive day in India , taking the total number of people in the country to 3,32,424. This information is obtained from the data of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. According to the ministry, about 11,502 new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours, which is more than 10,000 for the fourth consecutive day.

According to Health Ministry data, a total of 325 people have died in the last 24 hours since the first case surfaced in the country on January 30, after which the number of people who died is 9,520. At the same time, the number of people recovering from it for the seventh consecutive day (1,69,797), more than the number of active cases (1,53,106). Maharashtra remained the state with the highest number of cases in the country, with a total of 1,07,958 cases. So far, there have been 3,990 deaths. In Maharashtra, 120 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours, while 3,390 new cases have been reported. It is followed by Tamil Nadu (44,661) and the national capital Delhi (41,182).

In the last 24 hours, 2,224 new cases have been registered in Delhi, while 56 people have died, after which the total number of people who died in the national capital has increased to 1,327. At the same time, there are 23,544 total cases in Gujarat, where 1,477 deaths have been done. It is followed by Uttar Pradesh (13,615), Rajasthan (12,694), Madhya Pradesh (10,802) and West Bengal (11,087).
