Corona again wreaks havoc in China, lockdown in many areas of Beijing

Beijing: After 49 new cases of Coronavirus infection were reported in China, precautionary measures have been taken to deal with it in the capital Beijing. Of the new cases, 36 cases have been registered from Beijing on Monday. These cases have come up in the wholesale market from where meat and vegetables are supplied in the city.

According to news agency AFP, China has implemented a lockdown in 10 more areas of Beijing in view of increasing cases. According to the National Health Commission (NHC), 10 cases of infection are related to people returned from abroad and three cases are from Hebei province. According to NHS news, currently 177 coronavirus patients are under treatment and 115 people have been kept in isolation.

So far 4634 people have died due to coronavirus infection in China and 83,181 confirmed cases have been reported. Meanwhile, the Shifdi market in Beijing has been closed and all the people working there have been ordered to be examined and each person who has gone there should remain segregated for two weeks. Also, a close watch is being kept on patients.
