Corona cases decline, death figure decreasing for first time in 3 months

New Delhi: Corona infection cases in the country are now slowing down. On Saturday, 578 people have lost their lives in the country, the lowest figure of death in the last 98 days. More than 50 thousand cases have been registered in the country during the last 24 hours. India's recovery rate has also crossed 90 with the reduction in cases and an increased number of patients being recovered. Kerala has once again seen an increase in cases.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 10, 25, 23469 samples were tested for coronavirus till October 24. Out of these, 11, 40905 samples were tested yesterday. The number of infected patients in India has been steadily declining. According to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, "50,129 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the country during the last 24 hours and 578 patients have lost their lives during this period."

The number of active cases has come down to 6, 68154. The total figures of coronavirus-infected cases have now risen to 78, 64811 while 70, 78123 patients have been recovered and returned home. So far, a total of 117956 patients have lost their lives in the corona. '
