New Delhi: India started preparing from day one against the corona virus which has taken a dangerous form around the world . This is not a story but a reality from which the country has reached one lakh in one day with a hundred corona tests. Achieving this huge success in just two months, now more than one lakh tests are being done in the country every day.
There were a total of 1 million investigations of Corona virus in India for 94 days. Whereas in the recent past nine days this figure has crossed 10 lakh. Earlier, 10 lakh samples were tested in 12 days. Till Tuesday morning, more than 31 lakh samples have been tested in the country. Since May 18, more than one lakh samples are being tested in the country every day. However, in the last one day only 90 thousand samples could be tested. The ICMR initially approved only government labs, but private labs were later added to the campaign in view of the corona virus wreaking havoc in western countries.
At present, Corona virus is testing in 610 labs in the country, out of which 428 government and 182 private labs are involved. Not only this, during the lockdown, during the last two months, 150 tonnes of kits related to the investigation were sent to the states through 150 flights across the country. Along with this, it was decided to use indigenous trunet machine to test TB in corona examination. According to government data, at present there are 18 thousand machines in the country, out of which 104 are examining the samples of corona. States have been ordered to increase their use.
