And the 3rd and final victory imply they have now moved to the summit of the Men’s ODI Rankings. The 90-run win also ensured a 3-0 whitewash.
Shubman Gill (112) and Rohit Sharma (101) put on an opening stand of 212 to help India amass 385/9.
Devon Conway bowled an excellent tonne, but New Zealand still fell far short of their goal.
New Zealand drops to No. 4 while England moves up to No. 2 on the rankings.
India is rated at 114, England at 113, Australia at 112 for third place, and New Zealand at 111.
England will reclaim the top spot if they defeat South Africa by a score of 3-0.
