New Delhi: Bilateral talks were held between PM Narendra Modi and British PM Boris Johnson at Hyderabad House today. After this meeting, the top leaders of both the countries gave a joint statement in front of the media. During this, Boris Johnson praised India's progress fiercely. Johnson said that today India has become the pharmacy of the whole world and even the corona vaccine on my arm is from India. It has made me better, I thank India a lot.

In fact, the Covishield vaccine being made in India is being seen in Britain under the name of AstraZeneca. It is being produced by India's Serum Institute of India (CII), while research work for it was done by AstraZeneca and Oxford University. Britain's PM Boris Johnson described PM Modi as his special friend during this time and said that he has made an important contribution in strengthening the relationship.

Boris Johnson said on the talks between the two heads of state that we have had wonderful talks and we look forward to strengthen the relationship in every way. He said that the friendship between Britain and India is crucial in today's times. Sources say that in this meeting, it was proposed from Britain to help India in the manufacture of aircrafts. Britain said that the technology would also be shared on its behalf.
