Lucknow: The railway administration has issued a notice to displace the Chamunda Devi temple adjoining Raja Ki Mandi railway station in the Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. The railway administration has given 10 days to the committee to displace the temple. There is resentment among the devotees and Hinduist organizations about displacing the temple. Everyone has gathered for it. Let us tell you that the Mata Chamunda Devi temple adjacent to Raja Mandi railway station is hundreds of years old. Many legends are also associated with this temple. 

There is a legend among them that this temple is situated before the railway line was laid. This railway line was laid by British rule. During that time also an attempt was made to remove the temple, but the British officers could not remove the temple. After which the railway line was forced to go from Mumbai to Delhi and had to be removed from here. Now once again the Railway Administration has sent a notice to the committee by calling the Chamunda temple an encroachment. As soon as the news of the displacement notice came to the devotees, there was a crowd of devotees at the temple. There was a lot of anger among the devotees. 

Mahant Vishweshwara Nandgiri Maharaj Brahmachari of Maa Chamunda Devi temple has told that, in the year 2011, railways had sent a notice to remove Chamunda Mata temple as encroachment, to which the temple committee had also responded. Then a committee was formed by the Railways, in which a total of 7 people including SDM Sadar, ADM City and the chairman of the temple committee were involved. According to Nandgiri Maharaj, SDM Sadar after investigating found that the temple is actually hundreds of years old. The temple is already there before the construction of the railway station. After this, the committee handed over the letter of the inquiry report to the Railways, in which SDM Sadar wrote that this is not any encroachment. Even after this, what does the railway administration want to prove by sending notices from time to time on the Chamunda Devi temple, the centre of faith of Hindus? The Mahant of the temple requested Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and said that the matter should be taken into the interpretation.
