Munger: More than 12 children fainting in Bihar's Munger on Friday has created a ruckus. The children's health deteriorated due to eating the insect-killing pill (albendazole) in the stomach. All the children have been admitted to the primary health centre in Bariarpur. As soon as the information was received, several officials of the health department including SDM, and DEO reached the spot.

According to reports, children were given albendazole supplements this morning at Shah Zubair School Ghorghat. This pill is given to kill the insects in the stomach. But due to the use of this medicine, the health of more than 30 children in the school deteriorated. Some of the children complained of headaches and vomiting, while more than 12 fainted. This led to an uproar in the school.

As soon as the Tahrir was received, the top officials of the district rushed to the spot and admitted the sick weather to the primary health centre at Anand Phanan, where all the seasons are being slined. On the other hand, a huge crowd of people from the village including the parents of the children has gathered at the health centre. In fact, due to the long closure of schools in the Corona epidemic, albendazole was not being distributed among the children. Now, as soon as the school opens, this medicine has started to be distributed. The tablet of albendazole is given to children at an interval of 6 months. By consuming its medicine, there can be a problem like mild dizziness or vomiting in the child.
