Bhopal: Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the 2-day All India Police Science Congress. On this occasion, he said that now knowledge-based policing will have to be done instead of the sticks of British times. Now logic policing has to be done. Addressing the function, Amit Shah said that a new face of the police came to the fore in the Corona epidemic. Police is now appreciated all over the country. He said that I pay tribute to all the 2712 police personnel who laid down their lives while performing their duty in the Corona epidemic. The Home Minister said that the All India Police Science Congress has an important contribution in policing. Since the formation of the constitution, till now many challenges have come before the police. The police have to be 2 steps ahead of the guilty. For this, the police have to be modern. Must be techno-savvy.

Amit Shah said that in the last 8 years, when Narendra Modi's government was formed, there were some important problems. Which this Government solved in a scientific and practical manner. In which the Kashmir issue, Naxalism and the issue of drugs and weapons in the North East were prominent. On the five research reports released on the sidelines of the function, the Home Minister said that all states should give it to the officers working on the field level from their SP level to field level land. Only then is the significance of the research. The Home Minister said that the Police Technology Mission has been announced under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. Which will be conveyed to the state police. The same type of policing technology will be developed across the country. Shah said that police are two aspects of science. The first is science for police and the second is the science of police, both of which need to be addressed.

He further said, "Modernisation of police under the science of police has to be updated with technology. Only then can the concept of smart police come true. He said more than 16,000 police stations have gone online. It has become very necessary to bring to the notice the new changes that have been made in the police technology to reach out to the individuals. All the services of CCTNS will have to be a part of the training of each police station, by creating a database, it can be reached to the police station of each state soon and it can be reached to the people.  Shah said modernisations are also being done under Science for Police. A National Forensic Science University is being set up. It has been opened in 6 states. The university is also going to open in Bhopal. Improvements will be made in evidence-based policing. He said that it is necessary to make the institution of director prosecution effective. Back to basic has to go, beat patrolling works to connect the police with the individuals. The new Acts and new amendments have been made, and they will also be laid down. The CRPC, IPC, and Evidence Act are also being amended. The process and perfection, communication of profession will be brought down to the bottom of the police force so as to improve.
