'India rises from 80th to 40th position in Global Innovation Rankings': PM Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (January 29) once again addressed the people of the country with his 'Mann Ki Baat'. This was the first Mann Ki Baat of 2023 and the 97th overall. In this episode, PM Modi spoke on Republic Day, Padma Awards, Culture, Agriculture, and the upcoming G-20 conference. At the same time, PM Modi also drew people's attention to think about the solution of e-waste. Kashmir was also a major center of discussion in this year's 'Mann Ki Baat'.

PM Modi requested people to go for tourism in Kashmir. He said that there has been a rapid change in Kashmir and now there is also competition among the youth to play sports and make the country proud. The Prime Minister urged the people to strengthen India's Republic and ensure their participation in it. He described the Mann Ki Baat program as a loud voice of the fighters who are strengthening the Republic.

In 2015, India was ranked 80th in the world on the list of global innovations and is currently ranked 40th with an improvement of 40 ranks. PM Modi stressed the need to develop world-class technology in his own country. Apart from all these things, PM Modi praised the farmers producing coarse grains and said that now the world has started to understand its importance.
