Tomar, the founder of NIMS University Rajasthan, has been designated as the International Chair of the World Health Summit. This marks the first-of-its-kind instance of an Indian assuming the role of International President at World Health Summit. Chief Patrons of the summit include Olaf Scholz- Chancellor of Germany; Emmanuel Macron- President of France; and Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus- Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO).

The African, Caribbean, and Pacific Group, comprising 79 members, along with the 15-member Caribbean Community, lauded India at the World Trade Organization (WTO) for its expedition of vaccine supplies during critical times. Under the "Vaccine Maitri" initiative, India has provided 36.37 million vaccine doses to 35 countries and UN health workers.

Widely acknowledged as a distinguished pediatrician, Professor Tomar has earned the moniker of the “Father of Pediatric Gastroenterology” for his novel research contributions towards finding a cure for Indian Childhood Cirrhosis. His achievements have been documented with prestigious accolades such as the Rajiv Gandhi Award for excellence in pediatrics and gastroenterology.
Characterized by an exceptional work ethic, thoughtful insight, and remarkable talent, Prof. Tomar is an unforgettable face in the health industry.
