New Delhi: The outbreak of Coronavirus is increasing rapidly in India. The figures of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours are worrisome. According to the Ministry of Health, there have been 3900 new cases of coronavirus in the country within the last 24 hours. Within the same 24 hours, 195 people have died. However, a relieving news has emerged in the meantime. India has come close to making Corona medicines.

The Hyderabad-based Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) has synthesized the starting material for REMDASIVER being used in the treatment of corona, the first step towards making the vaccine. According to a report in Hindustan Times, IICT has started work for drug makers like Cipla to make it in India as and when required.
