New Delhi [India], Jan 26: India will look to extend their lead and try to put a solid score on the board to make it difficult for South Africa. Remember, the Proteas will bat last on this surface and as experts said, it will not be easy to bat in the fourth innings on this wicket. If India give them anything more than 250 to chase, the hosts will have to really grind hard to make it happen. The result is sure to come, unless rain gods arrive to disturb the match proceedings. India were 100/4 at the end of first session in their second innings and lead India lead by 93 runs.

After the lunch session team India will looking to post the total of more than 230 plus against Proteas to chase in the fourth inning. For India the run machine himself is on the crease for 27 runs not out including 4 boundaries. Murli Vijay who score 25 runs of 127 balls. He was the last man to dismissed before lunch. He was dismissed by the South African young pace bowler Kagiso Rabada. The runs were hard to come by and the ball was doing all sorts of tricks. The bowlers were on song and it needed Vijay's calmness, patience, grit and ability to leave balls consistently along with Kohli's special talent to see off the tough period. Both batsmen took blows on their fingers, and the umpires were worried for a while. They had a chat with both captains and decided to continue the game. Just when things were rolling along smoothly for India, KG produced an yorker out of nowhere to bring an end to Vijay's resistance.
