Description of Posts:
A total of 4368 posts will be filled up under this recruitment. It will fill up 1940 posts in Bihar Post Circle. It has earmarked 903 seats for general category, 146 for economically weaker category, 510 for OBC, 294 for SC, 45 for ST and 42 for PH category. A total of 2428 posts will be filled up in the same Maharashtra Post Circle. It has earmarked 1105 seats for General category, 246 for economically weaker category, 565 for OBC, 191 for SC, 244 for ST and 77 for PH category.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates applying under this recruitment issued as Gramin Dak Sevak should have a 10th pass certificate. It is mandatory to have math and English subjects in class X. Similarly, the age of candidates should be more than 18 years and less than 40 years. The maximum age limit will be relaxed for candidates covered under reservation.
