Notification has been issued for the recruitment of more than 3650 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks in the Indian Postal Department. Under this recruitment in Postal Department, a total of 3679 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks will be appointed in Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle, Delhi Postal Circle and Telangana Postal Circle. Candidates seeking job on the post of GDS can apply online by 26 February 2021 by visiting the official portal appost.in.

Educational Qualifications:
To apply for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak under India Post Recruitment, candidates are required to have passed 10th from a recognized institute / board.

Age Range:
The minimum age for candidates to apply for the posts of GDS in the postal department is 18 years and maximum age is 40 years. The age will be counted on the basis of age till 27 January 2021.

Application fee:
For applying for the post of GDS in Postal Circle, male candidates of general and OBC category will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. Whereas SC / ST category candidates will not have to pay any application fee i.e. application is free.

Selection will be like this:
Candidates for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks in the postal department will be selected from the merit list prepared on the basis of 10th marks. Candidates will not have to give any written examination or interview for the job in GDS posts.
