The country's largest state UP has a bumper vacancy for 10th pass candidates. The Department of Posts of India has invited applications for recruitment to 4264 posts in Uttar Pradesh. A notification has been issued for the recruitment of vacant posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks under Uttar Pradesh Postal Circle. Candidates can apply by visiting the official portal http://appost.in. Age Limit:-
The minimum age of candidates should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 40 years to apply under this recruitment to the posts of GDS in the Department of Posts. However, reserved category candidates will be exempted as per rules.
Educational Qualification:-
As per the notification issued by Uttar Pradesh Postal Circle, candidates are required to pass 10th from any recognized institution/board to apply for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS).
Application Fee:-
For male candidates of General and OBC category - Rs. 100
For SC/ST category candidates - no application fee
Selection Process:-
The candidates for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks in the Department of Posts will be selected from the merit list prepared on the basis of 10th marks. Candidates will not have to appear for any written test or interview for the job in GDS posts.
Pay Scale:-
Candidates selected for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks under Uttar Pradesh Postal Circle will get a salary of Rs. 10,000 per month.
