Educational Qualifications:
Secondary school with passing 10th standard in Mathematics, Local Language and English (studied as compulsory or optional subjects) conducted by any recognized board of school education by the Government of India / State Governments / Union Territories. The examination should be a mandatory educational qualification for all accepted categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks.

Compulsory knowledge of local language:
Candidates should have studied the local language [as compulsory or optional subjects] at least till the 10th standard, as declared by the state government or according to the constitutional provisions attached to the 8th schedule of the Constitution of India.

Age Range:
18 to 40 years (Age relaxation will be given for reserved category according to the government. No age relaxation for EWS category)

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the applications submitted online and on the basis of the automatically generated merit list as per the rules.
