Coronavirus is spreading fear all over the world at this time. The National Rifle Association of India has withdrawn its name from the Shotgun Shooting World Cup to be held in Nicosia (Cyprus) from March 4. The NRAI has taken this step keeping in mind the health advisory issued by the Government of India due to Coronavirus which is spreading in many parts of the world.

According to media reports, skeet shooter Meraj Ahmed Khan and Angadvir Singh Bajwa, who had secured Olympic quota in the Nicosia World Cup, were also to participate. NRAI President Raninder Singh says that the Indian shooters were to return from Nicosia on 12 March. According to the new guidelines, if any Indian shooter was stopped for Corentine, he would not be able to play in the World Cup starting in New Delhi from March 15. In such a situation, not sending the shooters for the Nicosia World Cup was the right step.

For information, let us tell you that Korea does not have a visa for the Delhi World Cup: Not only this, from March 15, shooting at the Karni Singh Shooting Range, the shooting of the World Cup is going on. His team has not been issued a visa due to the coronavirus spreading in Korea. Not only this, in the health advisory issued by the Government of India, it has been said that the people coming from Italy and Iran have Korentine. In such a situation, both these countries are also finding it difficult to get visas. The party of these three countries is the largest. Nine countries including China have already withdrawn their names.
