New Delhi: MySmartPrice reports that OnePlus has started testing its first tablet internally in India. The article suggests that the tablet, which is codenamed "Aries" in our country, will be released alongside the OnePlus 11R, which could be unveiled in June 2023.

However, the exact launch date is not known yet. One of the two names - OnePlus Pad or OnePlus Tab - will likely be given to the tablet.

An Android tablet from OnePlus has reportedly been in development for a while. However, the company has not made any mention of the product publicly yet.

Samsung, Apple and Lenovo currently control a major share of the Indian tablet market. As per the latest rumours, OnePlus will join Realme and OPPO as the third BBK member to enter the Indian tablet market.

According to the report, the OnePlus Tab or the OnePlus Pad is rumored to be a low-cost device. One of the Oppo tablets sold in the Indian market, most likely the Oppo Pad Air, will serve as inspiration.

But the OnePlus product won't be released until it gets some design and technical refinements. OnePlus and OPPO have often shared resources since their formal merger.

At the moment, it is unclear what the OnePlus Pad/Specifications tab will be. As a result, you are urged to treat the information below with caution.

As per earlier tip-offs, it could feature a 12.4-inch full-HD+ OLED display. The tablet could launch Android 12. It could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 or Snapdragon 680 chipset and 10,090mAh 45W battery.

The OnePlus 11R, which is expected to launch in or around June 2023, may not be the first tablet that OnePlus has released. According to rumours, the OnePlus Pad/Tab will have an OLED screen and will not be very portable.
