India has made a big move promising Pakistan cricket team to grant visas. The Pakistan team test captain Babar Azam will have no difficulty in travelling with his cricket players to India for the ICC World T20. The match for T20 World Cup is scheduled for month October.
Indian government is all set to grant visas to the players from the neighbouring nation. BCCI secretary Jay Shah itself has confirmed the decision with the Apex Council. Whereas, an Apex Council member also in response told that "The visa issue of Pakistan cricket team has been sorted. However whether the fans can travel across the border to watch matches is still not clear," to PTI. The statement further continuedI "t will be decided in due course of time. However we had promised ICC that it will be sorted. The secretary announced during the meeting." HoweverI, Both the countries India and Pakistan have not played bilateral series for many years. The reason is said to be the political tension they have between them.
Also, the BCCI has informed that World T20 will be held with Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium hosting the final.The other venues are Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Dharamsala.
