New Delhi: Amid the ongoing border dispute between India and China, the Indian Navy has included two drones on lease from the US to increase its capacity and keep an eye on the Indian Ocean region. Top government sources have told the media that this drone is capable of monitoring for more than 30 hours from the Indian Army's INS Rajali airbase.
Sources have said that both drones came to India in mid-November and in the third week of November the system was started and they are flying from there. Sources said that the Indian Navy has included these drones under a lease agreement with American vendors, who have also deployed their teams to help operate the system. Drones can monitor all kinds of activity at sea. With the help of drones, enemy warships can also be closely monitored. With the help of this drone, the Navy will definitely get an edge over its opponents.
He said that Indian drones could also be provided to the Indian security forces deployed due to the ongoing tension in East Ladakh region between India and China. Sources said that India and the United States are working together amidst the ongoing deadlock over Chinese aggression in eastern Ladakh.
