On the other hand, if we talk about this time, then the Indian team has won 6 out of 8 T20 Internationals against Sri Lanka in India. Of this, Sri Lanka won the last time in 2016, since then Sri Lanka has not been able to beat India in its home. Before that Sri Lanka won the first T20 match between the two teams in 2009 in India. But in the last four years, Team India is invincible against Lanka at home.
Both the teams have played 16 T20 Internationals against each other so far. Here too the Indian team has won 11 matches. The last time both teams came face to face in the Nidahas Trophy in Colombo two times, first Sri Lanka won and in the second match the Indian team won.
