According to the MET department, this spell of rain is expected to continue in many parts of the state. With this, many parts of the capital Jaipur received rain on Saturday afternoon and evening. According to the Meteorological Centre, pre-monsoon rains are continuing in the state. In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall has been recorded in some parts of the state and heavy to very heavy rainfall has been recorded at isolated places in Sawai Madhopur, Alwar and Bharatpur districts. According to the weather station, pre-monsoon activities will continue for four days in the districts of the Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Kota divisions.

Light to moderate rain is likely to occur in some places with cloudy thundershowers during this period. At the same time, according to IMD, there is a possibility of rain in different places in Uttar Pradesh in the next 5 to 6 days. At the same time, the area of air pressure over eastern Uttar Pradesh and the western disturbance from Afghanistan towards Jammu and Kashmir have changed the weather considerably. Amidst all this, the MET department has warned of heavy rain at several places in Sahibganj, Pakur, Godda, Dumka and Jamtara.

Ranchi Meteorological Department in charge Abhishek Anand said that after a delay of about a week from the regular time, the monsoon entered the north-eastern region of Jharkhand on Saturday and the north-eastern districts of Sahibganj, Pakur, Godda, Dumka and Jamtara received the first rainfall of the monsoon. At the same time, he said, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places over north-eastern, south-eastern and central parts of Jharkhand including Ranchi, Lohardaga, Latehar, Medininagar, Garhwa and Chatra.
