New Delhi: The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has given a statement on Saturday. This statement said, 'From February 13, health workers will be offered a second dose of anti-corona vaccine.' Regarding this matter, the Health Ministry said, "Immunization drive will be accelerated from all states and union territories". An order has been issued for the completion of the first dose of the vaccine to health workers by March 20 and to the frontline workers by March 6. The work of giving the second dose of vaccine will start from February 13.

It has been said that there is a difference of at least 28 days between the dose of the first and second dose. The vaccination campaign started in the country from 16 January. During this period, vaccines were given to health workers in the first phase. Now the first dose of vaccine is being given to frontline workers from the first week in the month of February. So far more than 56 lakh people have been given the first dose of vaccine in the vaccination campaign against Coronavirus. If the latest news is to be believed, no case of serious or very serious adverse effects has been reported so far. The Union Health Ministry has given information about this.

The Union Health Ministry said 56,36,868 beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far. This list includes 52,66,175 health workers and 3,70,693 frontline workers. He has said, '54.7% health workers registered on the Co-Win app have been vaccinated so far'. 2.20 lakh beneficiaries have been vaccinated on Saturday and no case of serious adverse effects has been reported so far.
