India, on the day of the conclusion of the 13th South Asian Games, raised its number of medals to close to 300 on Monday due to six gold in boxing. On the eighth day of the competition, Indian players won 46 medals including 31 gold, 12 silver and three bronze. The total number of medals in India rose to 297 (163 gold, 91 silver and 43 bronze), which makes it to the top of the table. On the other hand, Nepal has 195 medals (49 gold, 54 silver and 92 bronze) and Sri Lanka 236 medals (39 gold, 79 silver and 118 bronze) in third place. India has to participate in seven boxing events on the last day of the competition, so it is difficult to break the record of 309 medals in Guwahati.

14 golds won in wrestling: A report has revealed that India ended its campaign by winning 14 gold medals in the wrestling event. Saig had 20 wrestling events but according to the rules, no country can participate in more than 14 events, so India competed in the seven-weight category of men and women and won the gold medal in all. 

Champion in both classes in Kabaddi: India also swept the kabaddi and basketball three times three where both men's and women's teams won gold. Indian players in fencing also won all three golds on Monday. With the men's foil team event, the women's team won the EP and Saber topped the competition.

Gold to shooter Anuraj and Shravan: For the sake of information, let us tell you that in shooting, Indian pair of Anuraj Singha and Shravan Kumar won gold medal in mixed air pistol event. In the shooting, India won 18 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze medals.
