India wins third ODI by defeating Srilanka

The third ODI of the five match series between India and Srilanka was yesterday played at the  Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in which the Men in Blue defeated the Srilanka.

While winning the toss, Srilanka chose to bat first and gave a target of 218 runs which Indian players successfully managed to chase. The Men in Blue players Rohit Sharma made 124 runs while  Mahendra Singh Dhoni made 67 runs.

Bumrah ended with 5-27 while Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, and Kedar Jadhav all chipped in with a wicket each. Bumrah was awarded man of the match for his brilliant bowling performance.

The fourth ODI between the teams is scheduled to be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on August 31.
