New Delhi: People around the world are suffering from the corona epidemic, meanwhile, the United States will reopen in November for all air passengers who have been completely vaccinated against corona infection. India is among the 33 countries from where fully vaccinated people will be allowed to enter.

The US will approve air travel from November to 26 fully vaccinated persons from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Greece as well as 26 Schengen countries in Europe including UK, Ireland, China, India, South Africa, Iran and Brazil. Soon after the move was announced, the White House clarified that the final decision on which vaccines would be accepted by US Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The country's top medical body has said it will treat a person as "fully vaccinated" against corona infection only if he has been vaccinated by an FDA-authorized jab or WHO.

The same foreign nationals will have to submit a certificate of vaccination before travelling and there will be no need to have quarantine on arrival. Only seven vaccines have been approved for use by the WHO so far. These include Moderna, Pfizer-Biotech, Johnson & Johnson, Oxford-Astrazeneca, Covicshield (Oxford-Astrazeneca Formulation) and China's Sinoform and Sinovac.
