After films, now Indian advertisements also banned in Pakistan

Since Article 370 was removed, Indian things have been banned in Pakistan. A few days ago, it was reported that Indian films had been banned there. It is then revealed that they have now banned ads as well. The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has announced a complete ban on television commercials that have been produced in India or filmed by Indian artists.

"The presence of Indian characters on Pakistani TV screens raises the sufferings of Pakistanis who are suffering from Indian atrocities on Kashmiri brothers," PEMRA ordnance section 27 (a) of 2002, the report said. Guo said the authority has banned advertisements from several multinational brands, including Dettol, Sunsilk, Surf Excel. In October last year, the regulatory body had revoked permission to show the Indian television content/channels.

Pakistan has taken this step when the Indian government in the past decided to repeal Article 370 granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir and make Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh a separate Union Territory. India's decision does not favor Pakistan and Pak Prime Minister Imran Khan has threatened an attack like Pulwama. That's why everything related to India is being banned.
