Scientists of the Department of Micro Biology of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, have developed a capsule that will kill the straw in the field itself. The name of the capsule is Pusa de Compose capsule. This capsule will be mixed in five liters of jaggery solution. If this solution is sprayed on the straw, the straw will decompose within a week to ten days. DM Pilibhit Vaibhav Srivastava showed it in the field by demo and Goshti told the people about it.

The DM says that farmers can get rid of the straw by using capsules and waste de composer for proper management of the straw, as burning of crop residues will destroy the organic pests and fertilizers present in the land and damage our environment.
