Jaipur: The Indian Air Force (IAD) has postponed the exercise 'Vayu Shakti' scheduled to be held at Pokhran Range in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan on March 7. An official gave information in this regard on Saturday. According to the information, PM Narendra Modi was also scheduled to attend the event. In the exercise to be held in Pokhran, 148 fighter jets were about to show their combat skills. 

Let us know that in the desert sands of Pokhran in Rajasthan, the Indian Air Force shows its strength every three years. The Indian Air Force is the fourth largest air force in the world. For the first time in this exercise, Rafale fighter jets were also about to fly. At the same time, the Air Force in a 120-degree sweep had to hit the desert part of 1.5 to 3 km during the flight to the targets set during the flight. In which heaps of gunpowder, tank convoys, bridges, vehicles and air have been made among other traditional targets.

The event was last held in 2019. 148 aircraft were scheduled to take part in the exercise. It was to have 109 fighter jets and 24 helicopters. At the same time, Jaguar fighter aircraft, Sukhoi-30 fighter aircraft, MIG-29 fighter aircraft, Tejas fighter aircraft and other aircraft were going to show their strength in the 'Vayu Shakti Exercise-2022.'
