New Delhi: The second wave of coronavirus epidemic has created a hue and cry in India. The army has now taken the lead amid the fight for oxygen. The Indian Air Force cargo aircraft C-17 took off from Hindon Air Base to Pune Air Base at 8 am and loaded two empty oxygen container trucks and reached Jamnagar Air Base in Gujarat.

The C-17 jet left Hindon Air Base at 8 am today i.e. 24th April and reached Pune at 10 am. Two empty oxygen tankers were loaded onto the C-17 jet in Pune. The aircraft then reached Jamnagar in Gujarat at 1.30 pm. On the one hand, the army has taken the lead in transporting oxygen from one place to another within the country, while on the other hand, the work of bringing oxygen tankers from abroad has also started.

The Indian Air Force has also started an operation to bring oxygen tankers from abroad. The Air Force will airlift four oxygen tankers from Singapore. According to reports, the Air Force C-17 aircraft took off from Hindon Air Base at 2 pm to Singapore. The aircraft arrived in Singapore at 7.45 am. According to the Air Force, the aircraft will return carrying four containers of cryogenic oxygen tankers.
